Pick up to turn screen on

This will turn on your screen when you pick up your device. It requires the Automate it screen on/off plugin (free) You can adjust the sensitivity if you need to. The rule is set to activate when the screen is off and deactivate when the screen is on (so that it doesn't keep checking for motion when the screen is already on) This is my first Automateit rule so use this with caution, but it's working well for me on my nexus 7 so far! -Nicolai
