This rule will silence your notifications in your Messaging app when you are actively chatting with a specified user. The complementary rule, SMS-first time sound on, will change your sound back to normal when the Messaging app is closed.

SMS-first time sound on

This rule will keep your sound settings on for SMS when your Messaging app is not open (thus alerting you). The complementary rule, SMS-silent, will change your notification to silent while you're in your SMS app so you're not bombarded if you're having a conversation.
