Another request – would it be possible to have a NOT option on all triggers – Cell ID has this through the “leaving” option, why not all triggers? Only then can a comprehensive logic function be offered.

Is it possible to have a Set WiFi Hotspot action please – other automation apps have it.

Also, the ability to differentiate between power and a USB powered connection e.g. a charger and a PC.

hello. Is the pro version support ing the gps action. And the camera action.
    Thanking you in advanced

  4. Good post. I am a normal visitor of your web site and appreciate you taking the time to maintain the nice site. I will be a regular visitor for a long time.

Suggestion: There’s that action “start app”. Wouldn’t “close app” also be helpful?

I thought of a rule “If USB is plugged out, close the MyPhoneExplorer Client” (which otherwise waits for a connection since you close it manually).

  6. Shawn says:

Being able to activate or deactivate more than one rule at a time would be extremely helpful on the enable/disable rule action.

  7. Shawn says:

It would help greatly if the running app would show the current rule. I had to set notifications on all my rules just so I can tell which was running at the time, but I have to scroll through a list of all the recently activated ones to see which was was last.

I recently created a “test” rule that starts the chrome browser at 10:30am everyday, and I then deleted it after testing. However now chrome auto starts at 10:30am everyday, and there is no record in History. Please help!

Is there a possibility to execute a call or send sms action to a phone number that was issued in a trigger. This way, we can eg. send a confirmation to a phone that was used to activate a trigger.

  10. I need a new time related trigger. I want to create an action that waits “X” seconds/minutes before performing. Long story short I want to fall asleep listening to music and have the action turn Pandora off after 30 minutes.

    • AutomateIt says:

You can define a rule with the “kill application action” if you have rooted device, but it depends on the app so it wan’t work for sure with pandora.
We do have other suggestion for you – you can use “set volume for single stream action” to set the volume of music to 0.
If you have AutomateIt Pro version you can use the active period feature and the delayed execution feature.

Well what would you suggest in my case? I would like a 10 second delay between enabling Airplane mode and then disabling it, since airplane mode takes several seconds to activate. I would like to use this to toggle my radios when they are acting up. (I know there are apps already that do this but I’d rather AutomateIt)
