If on wifi, turn off mobile data.

This is a simple companion rule to the one that ensures that, while at home, I will always be connected to wifi. Together, they made it possible for me to survive with my limited data plan. There is also a dual rule, to enable mobile data again, when needed.

If no wifi, turn on mobile data.

This is a companion rule to the ones that ensure that, while at home, my mobile data is off. It ensures that, when appropriate, my mobile data is enabled again. Together, these rules were the solution for survival with my limited data plan.

WiFi on at home

I have two networks ar home. The rule is designed to have very low misses; that is: I want to be sure that my wifi turns on at home, even if that means that sometimes it may turn on while simply in the neighborhood. This is done to serve as support to a companion rule which turns off mobile data. Together, they were the solution for survival with my limited data plan.
